More than 43,000 examinees took the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance and promotional examinations administered by the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) in designated testing centers across the country last October 23, 2011.
Of the total number of examinees, reports said 21,927 hopefuls took the PNP entrance test which covered the qualifying examinations for Police Officer I, while 21,447 took the promotional exam for Police Officer 2 and 3, Senior Police Officer (for SPO1 to SPO4); Police Inspector (for Inspector and Senior Inspector); and Police Superintendent (for Chief Inspector and Superintendent).
