PH Azkals VS Internacional de Madrid Live Streaming

A charity football match featuring a team whose core will be composed of members of the Philippine Men’s National Team (“the Azkals”) playing against Internacional de Madrid will be held on Saturday, January 7th at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Gate receipts and other proceeds from the match will be donated to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) to benefit the victims of Typhoon Sendong.

Internacional de Madrid plays in the Tercera Division Grupo 7 (Third Division Group 7) of the Spanish League System. It currently lies in 12th place in its group close to the midway point of the season. On its website the team said “El Internacional de Madrid…es especialmente sensible a este tipo de tragedias, máxime en este caso por la cercanía que nos une al pueblo Filipino (Internacional de Madrid is particularly sympathetic to this type of tragedies, moreso because of the historical and cultural ties between Spain and the Philippines).”

The Philippine Team will be called the Azkals Alyansa. The team is expected to be lead by Azkals co-captain Chieffy Caligdong who will skipper the team in the absence of injured national team captain, Aly Borromeo. Also slated to play are James and Phil Younghusband, Ian Araneta, Anton del Rosario, Nate Burkey and Jason Sabio. The team will also include members of the developmental squad including OJ Clarino, Jinggoy Valmayor, Paolo Pascual and Raymark Fernandez. Rounding out the initial list of players are Eduard Sacapano, Roel Gener, Nestor Margarse, Misagh Bahadoran and Lexton Moy.

The match will be televised by ABS CBN as well as shown live (or on a slightly delayed basis) by Telemadrid for the Spanish TV audience.

The participation of Internacional in this benefit match supplements the support given by the Spanish government to victims of Sendong. The Embassy of Spain in the Philippines earlier announced that Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el desarrollo (Spanish Cooperation Agency for International Development) or AECID will provide about 900,000 Euros in aid to the typhoon victims.

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has appointed Richard Joson as the Local Organizing Committee Chairman (LOC) for the event. The LOC will include pre-match activities to remember the victims of Sendong and continue the effort to generate additional support. This will include a Telethon organized by ABS CBN that will be broadcast beginning at 2 pm on match day. The LBC Foundation will provide logistical support to collect donations in kind at Rizal Memorial also on match day. Other event-related activities will be announced when finalized.

Philippines Azkals VS Internacional de Madrid Ticket Prices: Tickets for the match will be made available via the various outlets of Ticketworld and on Ticketworld.com.ph beginning 4 pm on Monday, January 2nd. Ticket prices will range from P100 (plus taxes and other charges) to P500.

Pound-for-Pound Boxing King Manny Pacquiao has bought a P25-million yacht as a Christmas gift to his family.

The Italian-made yacht, named "Sarangani's Pride" considered to be the "Ferrari" of yachts, is Pacquiao's surprise treat to his family following his successful bout against Mexican champion Juan Manuel Marquez last November 12.

"Regalo ko sa pamilya ko at sa mga kids ko, wife ko after ng fight," he said.

It carries 3 jet skis, worth P1 million each, and it can travel from Sarangani to Manila in a day-and-a-half.

Pacquiao's wife, Jinkee, said they had been dreaming of owning a yacht for sometime now.

"Andaming blessing na dumating atsaka 'yung yate, iniisip lang namin dati na kelan kaya kami magkakaroon ng ganyan? Tapos ngayon, eto na," she said.

Pacquiao said he and his family will have plenty of bonding time while riding the yacht.

Philippine football fans will get to see world-class action when the Philippine Azkals face off against the 2011 Major League Soccer (MLS) champion Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday.

The 2011–12 PBA season is the 37th season of the Philippine Basketball Association. LA Galaxy and Azkals Tickets Prices cost P2K-P15.5K

Friendly match between the LA Galaxy and the Philippine national football team have revealed that the least costly tickets will be priced at P2,000 while the priciest seats will go for P15,500 each.

The LA Galaxy is currently the top-rated team in Major League Soccer, the US professional league, and will be playing for the league championship against the Houston Dynamo on November 20.

The Galaxy's star player, British midfielder David Beckham, is having what may be his best season in his five years of playing in America after a stellar career in England's Premier League.

The LA Galaxy may be the most illustrious overseas professional team to play in the Philippines in years, reflecting the strides football has made in capturing the fancy of the Filipino sporting public.

P14,000 for kids football clinic with Galaxy

The Galaxy-Azkals tickets will go on sale via Ticketworld Thursday afternoon. The other ticket prices are P5,000, P9,500, P10,500, and P12,500. The announcement was made via Twitter and the Azkaleros official fan page on Facebook.

Detailed information on seat locations and their matching theatre tickets prices will be available on the Ticketworld website also on Thursday.

Tickets will also be sold for the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. open practice of the LA Galaxy on December 2. Prices for this are more affordable at P3,000 for the grandstand seats and P1,500 for the bleachers.

Slots for the football clinic with the LA Galaxy in the afternoon of December 2 will be limited to the first 150 kids who can afford the P14,000 inclusive of the jersey, shorts and soccer bag.

Tickets for previous international friendly matches of the Azkals at the Rizal Stadium ranged from P200 for the side bleachers to P3,000 for the lower grandstand seats.

Seating capacity at the venue has been set at 13,000.

On the microblogging site Twitter, comments on the prices of the tickets ranged from acceptance to rejection.

Parallel to the SEA Games, the 6th ASEAN ParaGames for physically disabled athletes, begins 2 weeks after the SEA Games ends, with competition to be held in Surakarta (Solo), Central Java, Indonesia.

11 elf tour will take part in this event. There are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Brunei, Timor Leste. The winner of previous SEA Games is Thailand. SEA Games 2009 hosted in Laos.

The opening ceremony of the 26th SEA Games titled “Sriwijaya A Golden Peninsula” a magnificent sporting event marks the biggest sporting event in South East Asia in Sriwijaya Gelora, Jakabaring Sports Complex, Palembang, Indonesia on Friday, November 11, 2011.
