Barangay text voting for Puerto Princesa Underground River set on Oct. 9

The website of the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) said the PPUR is believed to be the longest navigable underground river in the world.

The country’s more than 42,000 barangays on October 9 will lead the synchronized text voting for the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) as one of the Seven New Wonders of Nature.

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo said the mass text voting for PPUR would boost the current high standing of the country’s lone candidate to the global polling competition.

People can vote for the Palawan underground river by texting "PPUR" to 2861. This is applicable for all networks.
