FANTASY FOOTBAL 2011–12: WEEK 3 RANKINGS, Top 5 Kickers

Fantasy Football's Missing In Action: Week 2, Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings: 5 Quarterbacks with the Best Matchups, Fantasy Football Week 3: Top 5 QBs Sure to Score Big, Fantasy football

LestersLegends’ Week 3 2001 fantasy football wide receiver rankings

1. Calvin Johnson @ Minnesota: The Vikes have limited the No. 1s (V-Jax, TB’s Mike Williams) so far, but Megatron will stop that trend.

2. Andre Johnson @ New Orleans: He’s topped 90 yards with a score in each of his two games.

3. Vincent Jackson vs. Kansas City: I feel bad for the Chiefs. Unfortunately the Chargers won’t show them any pity.

4. Larry Fitzgerald @ Seattle: Fitz and Kolb will continue to build a rapport.

5. Kenny Britt vs. Denver: Britt is averaging 135.5 yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game.

6. Roddy White @ Tampa Bay: Slow start to the year, but he’ll be up for the divisional game.

7. Stevie Johnson vs. New England: Has scored in both games this year. Bills should air it out to keep up with the Pats.

8. Wes Welker @ Buffalo: Came back to Earth last week, but should still be potent.

9. Dez Bryant vs. Washington: He’s not 100 percent, but should be huge with Miles Austin out.

10. Mike Wallace @ Indianapolis: Has topped 100 yards in both games this year.

11. Greg Jennings @ Chicago: Chicago will play better at home, but the Packers are dominating.

12. Brandon Marshall @ Cleveland: Marshall is quietly averaging 109 yards per game.

13. Steve Smith (CAR) vs. Jacksonville: Cam Newton is for real and Carolina’s version has reclaimed the Steve Smith title.

14. Reggie Wayne vs. Pittsburgh: Will miss Peyton in this one.

15. Jeremy Maclin vs. New York Giants: Averaged nearly 90 yards and a score against G-Men last year.

16. Mike Williams (TB) vs. Atlanta: Did nothing last week, but averaged 78.5 yards and a touchdown against Atlanta last year.

17. Dwayne Bowe @ San Diego: Without Jamaal Charles, the passing game is going to have to assume a larger role.

18. Santana Moss @ Dallas: Moss continues to be targeted heavily. He averaged 74.5 yards and a touchdown against the Boys last year.

19. DeSean Jackson vs. New York Giants: Probably misses Vick more than Maclin will.

20. Santonio Holmes @ Oakland: Jets are spreading the ball around, but he makes a solid WR 2 play.

21. Devery Henderson @ Houston: At least 100 yards and a score in both games so far.

22. Hakeem Nicks @ Philadelphia: Tough match-up, but he should be heavily involved with Manningham likely out with a concussion.

23. Anquan Boldin @ St. Louis: The offense struggled last week against Tennessee, but they’ll better than that.

24. Percy Harvin vs. Detroit: The Vikings have to get him on the field more.

25. Nate Burleson @ Minnesota: Averaging 76.5 yards. Will be motivated against former team.

26. Deion Branch @ Buffalo: Pats spread the ball around, but there is one less mouth to feed because of Aaron Hernandez’s injury.

27. Mike Sims-Walker vs. Baltimore: Got on the same page as Bradford with six catches for 92 yards on MNF.

28. A.J. Green vs. San Francisco: Developing into big-play option for the Bengals.

29. Brandon Lloyd @ Tennessee: Groin injury is a concern, but if he’s feeling better he’s a solid WR 3.

30. Jordy Nelson @ Chicago: Nelson will probably do his damage on more than one catch this week.

31. David Nelson vs. New England: 14 catches on the year—Bills figure to pass often.

32. Robert Meachem vs. Houston: Scored last week, but did little else.

33. Danario Alexander vs. Baltimore: 122 yards in season debut.

34. Plaxico Burress @ Oakland: Ignored last week. Should be more active this time.

35. Nate Washington vs. Denver: 13 catches for 166 yards on the year.

36. Jerome Simpson vs. San Francisco: Had a huge game last week (136 yards). Potential is there and Andy Dalton looks good.

37. Denarius Moore vs. New York Jets: Made some sick plays last week, but Jets are tougher test.

38. Chad Ochocinco @ Buffalo: I still think eventually he gets involved in the Pats’ offense.

39. Eric Decker @ Tennessee: Made his mark in both games so far.

40. Julio Jones @ Tampa Bay: Still has a long way to go, but his athleticism is off-the-charts.
